Project Description:

This Locally Administered Federal Aid Project involves preliminary and final design to reconstruct approximately 1 mile of urban roadway that serves as a major transportation corridor into the City and Saratoga Hospital. Major improvements included new pavement, curb, sidewalks, installation of a new closed storm sewer system, water main replacement and period street lighting. Intersection alternatives included widening for additional turn lanes or reconstruction as a modern roundabout. Project completion was accelerated to be part of the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA).
