Project Description:

The National Park Services was evaluating various improvements to the four non-contiguous units of the Saratoga National Historical Park and other local historical resources, with the goals of enhancing the visitor experience and protecting the Park’s natural and cultural resources. In addition to surveying services, CME was responsible for developing an alternative transportation system for the Park. Multiple transit options were evaluated along with pedestrian and bicycle linkages and water-based transportation. An evaluation of potential sites for a regional visitor orientation center and analysis of visitation statistics for the Park were also included in the transportation study.

Firm Role:

Creighton Manning Engineering completed a 22-acre boundary and topographic survey for a future park to commemorate the battle at Victory Woods during the American Revolution. The project site is located in the Old Saratoga Unit of the Saratoga National Historical Park. GPS was used to provide State plane coordinates on monumentation set at the site.
